Process

Generative learning for your staff as adult learners:

  • We use action learning with a strong theoretical base so that your staff develop and practice new behaviours in the workshop which means they have a better chance of integrating the learning into their work
  • We offer challenging interactions where staff get to explore their own actions and reactions so that they can see for themselves those areas they want to change
  • We present much of our material in action in a non-threatening playful way so that staff can engage in the learning in an open and inquisitive way with each another. This means the relationships within your business are strengthened and people have a practical experience of learning from one another
  • We build on what people already know, acknowledging that adult learners already have a wide range of experience and expertise. From this secure base we are able to focus on those areas that staff don’t so easily practice in their work
  • As we challenge the way staff interact with upset customers we know we need to keep a sense of fun and lightness. There is a lot of interaction and enjoyment in this process
  • This is deep learning that is reinforced by practice. It is sustainable and generative in nature. Because of the methods used, staff are able to integrate it into their own functioning and apply this learning in many other situations
